By booking or using our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

1. General Terms

1.1 Dominican Shipping Ltd is a UK-registered logistics company operating under UK law. 1.2 Our services include domestic collections, international shipping, and customs coordination. 1.3 We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. 2. Bookings and Payments

2.1 Bookings must be made at least one week before the scheduled departure date. 2.2 Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash, or secure payment link. 2.3 Shipments will not be dispatched until payment is received in full. 2.4 The sender must ensure that all details provided (names, addresses, contact numbers, item descriptions, and declared values) are accurate.

3. Delivery and Transit Times

3.1 Transit times are estimates and may vary due to customs processing, port congestion, weather conditions, or carrier delays. 3.2 Maritime shipments from the UK to the Dominican Republic typically take **6–8 weeks**. 3.3 Dominican Shipping Ltd will not be liable for delays caused by third parties, customs authorities, or shipping lines.

4. Packaging and Liability

4.1 The customer is responsible for ensuring that all items are properly packed for international transport. 4.2 Fragile items travel **at the sender’s own risk**. We do not provide insurance for loss or damage. 4.3 Dominican Shipping Ltd is not liable for damage or loss resulting from poor packaging, acts of God, or handling by third parties. 4.4 Customers may arrange external insurance if desired.

5. Prohibited and Restricted Items

5.1 The following items are **strictly prohibited**: * Hazardous materials, explosives, flammable liquids, and toxic substances. * Illegal goods or counterfeit items. * Mobile phones, lithium batteries, or high-value electronics unless pre-approved. 5.2 Restricted items (e.g., perfumes, alcohol, electronics) may be accepted **only at the sender’s risk** and with prior approval.

6. Customs and Import Regulations

6.1 All shipments are subject to customs clearance at destination. 6.2 The sender must provide accurate documentation and declare the true value of the goods. 6.3 Dominican Shipping Ltd provides general guidance but is **not responsible for customs duties, delays, or confiscations**. 6.4 In Spain and other European countries, customs management and charges are the responsibility of the consignee. 6.5 **If a shipment is returned to the origin due to the consignee’s failure to provide documentation, pay customs duties, or complete import procedures, all return charges and associated costs will be the responsibility of the customer.** 6.6 Dominican Shipping Ltd reserves the right to withhold delivery or re-shipment until these charges are fully paid.

7. Loss, Damage, and Claims

7.1 We take every precaution to protect customer cargo; however, Dominican Shipping Ltd **does not offer insurance coverage** for loss or damage. 7.2 Claims for missing or damaged items must be submitted within 7 days of delivery with supporting evidence (photos, list of contents, and receipt). 7.3 Compensation, if applicable, will not exceed the declared shipping cost and is at our discretion.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

8.1 Bookings cancelled more than 48 hours before collection may be refunded minus administrative fees. 8.2 Refunds are not available for shipments already collected or in transit. 8.3 If a customer fails to provide accurate contact or delivery details, the shipment may be held or returned at their expense.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of **England and Wales**. 9.2 Any dispute arising from the use of our services shall be handled by UK courts under applicable law.
